Lynn Scheidenhelm, LCSW worked full time for 27 years at Clinica Family Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in the Boulder and Adams County, Colorado. Her focus was on integrative behavioral health services. Lynn has been involved in co-facilitating Centering pregnancy and parenting medical groups since 2005 and was responsible for bringing this practice model to the clinic. She has also been co-facilitating chronic pain groups since 2012 at the clinic.
Lynn received a BA in Cultural Anthropology from University of Wisconsin, Madison campus, and her MSW from the University of Denver. She is a Lamaze trained childbirth educator, taught at local childbirth facilities for over 25 years, recently retiring as an educator. Past experiences have included mediation, private practice, adjunct faculty with University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work supervising graduate students at their field placements, part-time faculty for Metro State College, Graduate School of Social Work, and clinical supervisor of second-year Social Work students at Clinica Family Health for over 15 years.
